Dr. Ian Hui is originally from Windsor, Ontario where he completed his undergraduate degree in Biology and Math. He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Hui is highly experienced in fitting a variety of contact lenses and in performing routine eye examinations, but he has a particular interest in managing ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration and dry eye. His biggest enjoyment comes with the opportunity to educate his patients and tailor each exam to fit their personal needs.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hui enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, their two boys, Rory and Quinn and their Siberian Husky, Meisha. Everyone likes to stay very active with hiking, working out and more! Despite being from Canada, he has grown to love all things Hawkeyes, especially their football and basketball programs!
